PENICUIK: Penicuik Town Council’s redevelopment at the Cuiken area, where it is hoped to replace 72 pre-fab houses with 127 permanent houses, is held up once again. The Scottish Development Department has rejected the latest scheme, as it says the cost seems rather high.
