Riding group nets £10,000
A GROUP helping to provide opportunities for disabled people to experience horse-riding has been awarded £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund to help develop an indoor riding arena.
The award for Ravelrig Riding for the Disabled will help it in an ongoing campaign to build an indoor arena.
The group’s existing riding arena cannot be used all year round, and the new facility would enable it to increase the number of lessons it can provide in all weather conditions.
