Santa getting ready to roll as News Christmas campaign hits the street

SANTA’s grotto will be heading to Princes Street tomorrow, as part of our Christmas appeal.

The Evening News has teamed up with Lothian Buses and Jenners to create a Santa’s Grotto which will tour the Capital, stopping to welcome visitors at various locations to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Tomorrow Santa will be stopping on Princes Street, between Frederick Street and The Mound, from noon until 4pm, while on Tuesday he will be heading to the Early Years Centre, Craigroyston, from 1pm to 2pm.

Youngsters visiting the grotto will receive a small gift, and parents will be invited to make a donation to our appeal.

All money raised will go to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation, which this Christmas aims to provide equipment for the Sick Kids and Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion.

Readers can also help brighten a child’s Christmas by dropping off presents at any Lothian Buses travelshop.
