Santa’s grotto on the road in Capital fundraiser

SANTA’s grotto will be on the move across the Capital today, as part of our fundraising Christmas appeal.

The Evening News has teamed up with Lothian Buses and Jenners to create a Santa’s Grotto which will be touring around the Capital, stopping to welcome visitors at various location which we will reveal over the coming weeks.

Today Santa will be stopping at Greengables Nursery, Niddrie House Gardens, from 1pm, while on Saturday he will be on Princes Street, between Frederick Street and The Mound, from noon until 4pm.

Youngsters visiting the grotto will receive a small free gift, and parents will be invited to make a donation to our Christmas Appeal.

All money raised will go to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation, which this Christmas is aiming to help children with sight impairments by providing the Sick Kids and Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion with their own dedicated equipment.

Readers can also help by dropping off presents at any of the Capital’s four Lothian Buses travelshops.
