The indoor skate park planned for Midlothian will now be joined by a trampoline centre when “action sports complex” ‘Ozone’ opens in December.
‘Ozone’ will be based at a 51,000 sq ft disused unit in Mayfield Industrial Estate, featuring Transgression Park skate park, and now a trampoline centre called ‘Ryze’ as well.
The sprawling arena will also feature a dodgeball and basketball court, as well as an extreme ninja obstacle course and a trapeze over a foam pit.
Ken Smith of Transgression Park, is excited about the “shift” in the plans, he said: “It’s going to be awesome.
“I think it doesn’t matter what age you are or how adventurous you are there is going to be something to get you involved and active.
“We are aiming to open in December, but I don’t want to put a fixed date on it yet.
“Right now we are setting out the building, making it fit for purpose.
“We have been really busy getting the site ready, and with the trampolining guys coming on board it’s taken a shift.
“It’s developed more into an action sports complex.”
