Forestry Commission Scotland is encouraging locals to get out and enjoy Lord Ancrum’s Wood, Newbattle with the arrival of spring today (Friday).
It is calling on people to get the most of days getting longer and warming up.
Forestry Commission Scotland’s community ranger for Lord Ancrum’s Wood, Newbattle, Roddy McTavish said: “There are so many benefits from being outside and in green space. Spring is a wonderful time of year to enjoy nature, relax and breathe in fresh air.
