Stage set for kids’ Polish drama class

Theatre classes in both Polish and English, ending with children taking to the stage for a one-off performance, are to be held in Pilton.

The Gappad Theatre and Polish Festival Association has invited six to 12-years-old to take part in its theatre and art workshops at the North Edinburgh Arts Centre, Pennywell Road.

The workshops will include singing, dancing, text work, individual and group improvisation.

During the art workshop, participants will work on scenery and costumes. Together, the theatre and association will create a performance for both children and adults which will be presented in December. All classes are free and will be lead in both Polish and English.

The sessions run on Saturdays at 10am to 1pm from September 17 to December 8.

The initial meeting for children and parents will take place on September 3 at 3pm.
