Stores target charity cash

Scotmid Co-operative staff across the Lothians will this year raise money to support disadvantaged young people as part of the company’s official charity partnership with The Prince’s Trust Scotland.

Scotmid has pledged to raise £120,000 through a number of in-store activities, encouraging local communities to get behind the initiative as well as through staff-hosted events such as car washes and karaoke sessions.

Staff will also be able to do volunteer work for the Trust.
