Four seasons in one day might be an apt way to describe this year’s Dalkeith show – but that didn’t stop visitors flocking to exciting new attractions.
No sooner had members of the crowd begun peeling off their jackets in the warm sunshine, when thunderous downpours forced them to take cover.
But that was just the excuse they needed to pop in to the show’s new initiative, the food hall, featuring some of the best produce from Midlothian and further afield.
And there was more fun on the menu for children too with St David’s, Lasswade and Hawthornden primary schools all taking part in a new poster competition.
