Business funding, training and support will be showcased at a Midlothian Council event tomorrow (Friday).
The day-long event, open to current and potential Midlothian businessmen and women, will be held at the Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin.
The aim of the event is to highlight the support and sources of funding available from the East of Scotland Investment Fund and from Skills for Midlothian Businesses to help enterprises along the road to economic recovery.
Key speakers will be Midlothian North MSP Colin Beattie (SNP) and Midlothian’s strategic services spokesman councillor Russell Imrie (Lab). There will be presentations about the various services, a question and answer session, networking opportunities, as well as details of how small and micro-sized businesses can apply for loans of up to £50,000 from the East of Scotland Investment Fund.
