Three in five people in Midlothian receive Covid-19 vaccine
Three in five people in Midlothian had received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine by April 13, the latest figures reveal.
Public Health Scotland data shows 45,731 people Midlothian had received their first jab by April 13.
That was up six per cent from 43,174 a week earlier.
It means 61 per cent of people aged 16 and over in Midlothian have now received their first dose.
The figures include 10,137 people who had their second dose, meaning 14 per cent of over-16s have now had both jabs.
Across Scotland, 2.7 million people received a jab by April 13, 59 per cent of the population, an increase of four per cent from 2.6 million the week before. The data also shows that 14 per cent of people across Scotland have received both jabs.
