East Lothian motorists advised to 'drive with caution' as commuter route faces high winds

The A1 between East Linton and Edinburgh is experiencing adverse weather conditions

East Lothian motorists have been advised to drive with caution as high winds are being experienced on a main commuter route.

Traffic Scotland reported that the A1 at East Linton is currently experiencing high winds.

They said: "Drivers are advised to drive with caution in the area."

Although there are no weather warnings in the area currently, Yellow weather warnings are expected over the weekend as Storm Dennis batters Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
