Edinburgh Haymarket signalling error causes major travel disruption

A signalling error at Haymarket station is causing major disruption for travellers.

At 12:20pm today (Tues), ScotRail advised that they had been informed of a problem occurring with the signalling service at Edinburgh’s Haymarket station.

While the problem is ongoing, engineers are currently on the scene and have begun work to fix the issue.

The problem has affected a number of services between Edinburgh and Glasgow via Falkirk and Bathgate as well as between Edinburgh and Dunblane. Trains between these services will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

The disruption is expected to last until around 2pm this afternoon.
