Edinburgh traffic: M9 motorway reopens after crash

Both lanes on the eastbound carriageway were blocked this morning.

Both lanes on the eastbound M9 have reopened after a crash earlier this morning.

The incident happened between J2 and J1A at around 6:40am.

Traffic Scotland warned drivers that delays were still expected despite the reopening.

A nearby motorway camera showed two long lanes of traffic queued up behind the crash, while the westbound carriageway remains clear.
