New temporary traffic lights have been placed on Niddrie Mains Road, Edinburgh Council has warned drivers.

The four-way system, which is controlling traffic at the junction with Hay Avenue, is expected to remain in place for the next five days, as contractors work on Cityfibre installations.

The company is currently upgrading much of Edinburgh’s internet speed by laying miles of state-of-the-art fibre cabling.
