Heavy traffic on Queensferry Road and Jock’s Lodge amid roadworks

Traffic is moving very slowly on Queensferry Road this morning, causing long tailbacks.

There is heavy traffic from Dalmeny just past the Queensferry Crossing, stretching to Blackhall.

Vehicles are also moving slowly westbound from Quality Street to Barnton.

The congestion is causing delays on Clermiston Road North and on Maybury Road, with queues from East Craigs to Barnton.

There are temporary traffic lights at the junction with Orchard Brae, and Orchard Road South is closed due to gas works.

There is no access from Queensferry Road to Quality Street and temporary traffic lights are in place due to fibre installation.

Traffic is also moving slowly at Jock’s Lodge, with delays on Portobello Road and Willowbrae Road.

There are temporary traffic lights at Jock’s Lodge Junction due to roadworks.

Willowbrae Road is closed southbound and Restalrig Road South is also closed.
