Man taken to hospital following crash on Gifford to Haddington road

A driver has been taken to hospital after a collision on a road in East Lothian.

The man was driving on the B6369 when his vehicle crashed at the side of the road at about 12.25pm on Sunday, 14 March.

He has been taken to Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to be treated for his injuries – the extent of which are not yet confirmed.

A police spokesman said: “We received a report of a one vehicle crash at 12.25pm. A vehicle left the road on the B6369 north of Gifford.

"A male driver has been taken to Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.”

A witness said an air ambulance was at the scene of the crash, which happened near to the School of Furniture.
