Part of West Approach Road to close in next phase of bridge repair works

A section of the West Approach Road will be closed tonight in the next phase of repair works to Morrison Street Bridge.

This is to allow scaffolding to be moved to the centre of the bridge.

The road will be closed citybound between Morrison Link and Canning Street from 8pm tonight.

The inside lanes in both directions will be opened again from 6am on Thursday.

The works to repair the Bridge began on January 4 and are due to finish on March 20 at 5pm.

Buses are diverted via Morrison link.
