Queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Queen Street before the game, and at Haymarket afterwards.

There will also be alcohol bans in effect, in line with Scotrail policy with large events.

Head of Customer Operations Phil Campbell said: “We have done everything we can to boost the number of seats on key routes in and out of Edinburgh.

“Our services will be very busy so people should plan their journeys in advance, check train times regularly, and make sure they have a ticket before travel.

“The last trains of the day will be very busy, so please aim for an earlier service to avoid disappointment.”
