The disruption is affecting some services between Edinbrugh and Glasgow Queen Street, via Falkirk High in both direction.

Writing on Twitter, Scotrail said: “There's a problem with the signalling system preventing trains from entering or leaving platforms 11 & 12 at Edinburgh Waverley. @NetworkRailSCOT's engineers are on their way to fix this.

“At the moment, this is only affecting some of our services between Edinburgh & Glasgow Queen St via Falkirk High in both directions. All other routes are running as normal right now.”
