Tributes have been paid to a “bright and vivacious” mother and her “beautiful” daughter, who were killed in a car crash on the A9 last week.
Abigail Houston (42), who worked as a paediatric occupational therapist in Midlothian, and seven-year-old daughter Mia were travelling near Kingussie when their Audi collided with a Jeep Cherokee last Tuesday evening.
Mrs Houston’s husband, Andrew, an Edinburgh solicitor advocate, and his other daughter Lily were taken to hospital in Inverness with multiple injuries.
A man – thought to be a German tourist – in the Jeep also died and a woman was injured.
