Two charged after dog attack
TWO men have been charged after a dog mauled five people at a Leith tower block.
Lothian and Borders police said the pair, aged 43 and 23, were charged with offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act, and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
It follows an incident at Cables Wynd House last week when five people were hospitalised.
The dog was subsequently destroyed.
