Uni in line for green gong
QUEEN Margaret University has been shortlisted for a pair of environmental awards in a competition recognising sustainable colleges across the UK.
The university campus in Musselburgh is among the contenders in the space efficiency and green ICT categories at this year’s Green Gown Awards.
Fraser Muir, director of information services at QMU, said: “Despite our early success with our energy efficient building and technology, we have not rested on our laurels. We have continued to refine many of our processes to reduce energy consumption.”
