Vibes right for contest

BUSINESSES have until July 6 to enter a contest that could see them declared Edinburgh’s greenest.

The 2012 Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (Vibes) Awards has nine different categories where businesses of all sizes and sectors can participate.

Vibes chair Gillian Bruce said: “The Vibes Awards recognise businesses which have taken significant steps to improve or reduce their impact on the environment.

“We have received many high quality entries so far, and we hope that even more of Edinburgh’s leading businesses will enter this year.”

By winning a VIBES Award, companies are eligible to enter the European Business Awards for the Environment.
