Edinburgh residents are preparing to enjoy another day of sunshine as the Met Office predicts high temperatures of 28 degrees celsius for today.
The morning will see light to heavy clouds until the afternoon at around 4pm when the sun will come out and bathe the city in heat.

12pm: 16C and slightly cloudy
1pm: 18C with no cloud

3pm: 20C with no cloud

8pm: 23C with no cloud

There is less than a 5% chance of rain all day.

“Maximum temperature 28 °C.”
Thursday will see the last of the sun for the week as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms set to hit Edinburgh throughout Friday into the early hours of Saturday morning.
