Edinburgh weather: The Capital looks like idyllic winter wonderland as snow falls across the city

The video, taken by local Alex Orr, shows Edinburgh’s Royal Mile looking breath taking in Monday’s night’s snow.
The east coast saw heavy snow fall on Monday, which is set to continue throughout Tuesday as the Met Office issue another weather warning.

Hide AdA statement from the Met Office warns: “Daily accumulations of 2-5 cm are probable for some, with 10-15 cm plausible in areas where showers merge into more organised and prolonged spells of snow. Some icy stretches are possible overnight.”
Travel disruptions are expected, and transport company Lothian has already updated their timetable, with buses unable to serve the Mound, Liberton Brae, Liberton Gardens and Howden Hall Road.
Also, Bonaly,Torphin, Oxgangs Road North, Balcarres Street, Craighouse Gardens and Craighouse Road are all inaccessible and routes to these areas have been altered.
