Edinburgh is once again facing extreme weather as yellow warnings are issued by the Met Office.

The Capital is set to see high winds with gusts of up to 36 mph hit the city.

There is a possibility of travel delays on trains and ferries, and road users are asked to take extra time for their journey.

High sided vehicles in particular are warned to take precautions.

There could also be a loss of power in certain areas.

The winds will be at their height between 11am and 4pm on Friday with a 30% chance of rain.

Temperatures are not going to drop, with the Met Office predicting highs of 18C.
