Edinburgh is gearing up for another stunning day today with highs of 21C.

Early birds in the capital will see temperatures of 13C at 7am, rising to 16C at around 10am.

The afternoon, around 1pm will be a balmy 18C hitting the lofty heights of 21C at 4pm.

Temperatures won’t start dropping until later, with 7pm still showing 20C, eventually sinking to 16C by 9pm tonight.

Despite this hot weather, the Scottish Government message is still ‘Stay at Home’ during the coronavirus pandemic, and only to leave the house for essential reasons, including exercise, shopping and medical reasons.
