Could a collaboration between one of Britain’s most innovative chefs and a leading Midlothian company be on the cards?
Last month Jo Macsween, from the Loanhead-based haggis producer, met up with Heston Blumenthal in London at a food writing class. The top chef, winner of three Michelin stars, was on hand to describe how he became interested in food, how to cook the perfect chip, and his ethos behind his restaurant The Fat Duck.
Jo told the Advertiser: “It was lovely to meet a celebrity chef who didn’t have to introduce his ego. He was lovely. It was a really nice experience to meet him.”
