Wiggling to get healthy

Leighann Lindsay leads one of the first classes of Wiggle Giggle Imaginative Movement, after setting up the pre-school classes to help encourage children to be fit and healthy.

The East Lothian mum, a former engineer, retrained in delivering physical activity sessions to youngsters.

The Wiggle Giggle classes, which use elements from a programme of physical activities developed by the University of Edinburgh, include a variety of dance, song, storytelling and yoga components.
