Woman fined and tagged after playground assault

a WOMAN battered her love rival in a playground as terrified children looked on.

Pamela Frame punched Kirsty Donaldson on the head and pushed her during a row over a boyfriend they “shared”.

Frame, 24, was ordered to pay her victim £300 compensation and tagged on a 7pm to 7am home curfew for four months at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.

She earlier pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of assaulting Ms Donaldson to her injury in October last year. Graham Fraser, prosecuting, said the attack happened while Ms Donaldson and her daughter were at a playpark next to Addiewell Primary School, West Lothian.

An argument broke out during which Frame attacked her victim, leaving her with bruising and swelling to her face and back.

Sheriff Peter O’Carrol told Frame: “This was a pretty nasty assault. The offence is considerably aggravated by the fact it took place in a children’s playpark.”
