Works starts on GP centre

work has got under way on the building of a new £2.9 million medical practice and day centre in Gullane.

The new medical centre is a joint development between NHS Lothian and East Lothian Council. The surgery is due to be completed and open to patients by the end of the year.

East Lothian provost, Councillor Ludovic Broun-Lindsay, said: “The new day centre and medical practice will provide much needed purpose-built accommodation.”
