Year roars in at sea world

Deep Sea World, Scotland’s national aquarium, is to join in celebrations for the start of the Chinese year of the dragon with a weekend of activities dedicated to their very own “dragons”.

The aquarium is home to a pair of bearded dragons called Jack and Finn and visitors will be able to meet and find out all about them in a series of talks and special events taking place throughout the weekend.

Chinese New Year is celebrated on different dates each year.

In 2012 the new year officially begins on January 23.
