Time to move on

I think we all know by now that the Independence referendum resulted in a NO vote so why, may I ask, are many of the YES supporters still flying their flags, displaying Yes signs, marching and making lots of noise in general?

The people of Scotland voted No by 55 per cent to 45 per cent and this is not going to change no matter how much fuss they make.

I recently watched Question Time on the BBC from Kelso and one man was saying that the fight has only just begun. What’s he talking about? Surely it’s now over or have I missed something?

Within hours of the result being announced, the YES campaign were saying that the government were reneging on their promises.

For Heaven’s sake, give them a chance!

It’s now time to forget our differences and get Scotland back together as one country, working together for the good of the people.

We are all Scottish and it should no longer matter if we were Yes or No voters. If these opposing feelings are allowed to fester then we will take much longer to unite as one country again and that cannot be good for Scotland or the Scottish people.
