Letters to the Editor

Thank you from project

I would be grateful if I could use your letter page to thank all the people from Dalkeith and Woodburn who gave the Bill Russell Woodburn Youth Project their support following the break-in four weeks ago at the Midlothian Advice and Resource Centre. The break in was very upsetting to us all especially when we found the stolen equipment smashed up in a neighbouring garden.

We are extremely grateful for the kind donations of games consoles and games, these were very much appreciated by our young people.

The fact that people went to the trouble of donating to us was very heartening for myself and the management committee of BRWYP to know that there are people out there who do care.

I know that people are very angry that young people carried out this crime and I am aware that the police are making enquiries and will hopefully have some results.

Margot Russell

Co-ordinator, BRWYP
