People in Midlothian are being asked to put forward inspirational local young people for a national award.
‘Young Scot’ is urging the public to nominate young people aged 11-26 who have made a real difference in their area and a positive effect on the lives of others.
Three finalists in each of the 11 categories will be invited to a ceremony at Clyde Auditorium in April where the winners will be revealed.
Louise Macdonald, Chief Executive of Young Scot said: “If you know a young person or group from Midlothian who you think deserves to be recognised for their talents and achievements, we are urging you to nominate them now.”
To nominate a young person or group, visit www.youngscotawards.co.uk before midnight on February 17.
