Edinburgh Rugby’s David Denton signs for Bath
Bath have signed Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby player David Denton.
Back row Denton, 25, was seen as a direct replacement for Sam Burgess, the England internationalist who has joined Australian rugby league side South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The Aviva Premiership outfit have agreed to buy out the final six months of Denton’s contract with the player moving to The Rec within the next few weeks.
Edinburgh were keen to hold on to the 32-times capped Denton but couldn’t match the financial package offered by Bath.
