Danderhall rider Michael Robertson raced to an amazing victory during the seventh round of Thundersport GB at Pembrey last weekend.
Robertson took to the track during qualifying on the Carnies Autocentre Kawasaki knowing he would have a fight on his hands with the other racers in the 1000cc Superstock class.
Michael managed a first row start, qualifying in second place with a time of 59.479 seconds.
During the weekend, Michael competed in both the 1000cc Superstock and the GP1, achieving an outstanding set of results. The Danderhall man won three out of three in the 1000cc Superstock as well as notching up two firsts and a second in the GP1 class.
This means Michael is currently sitting second in the 1000cc Superstock championship, 60 points behind championship leader Ian Mackman, and third in the GP1 Class behind Phil Crow and Ian Mackman.
With there still being three rounds left in the championship, Michael knows he will have to give it his all to collect the points to compete for the championship win.
