BAsketball: Blaze aim to Storm back

Boroughmuir Blaze lost 67-60 at home to Troon Tornadoes at the Crags last Saturday but were hit by a virus and work commitments and had only six seniors plus two juniors available.

Coach Simon Turner believes they could still have won, picking out guard John Brown for his strong play despite two knocks: “He was excellent.”

Blaze are at Glasgow Storm tomorrow though Turner will miss the game and Lee ‘Chopper’ Pettett and Michael McGregor are fitness doubts.
