Coach Brogdon hails progress at league leaders Grange
The Stockbridge-based combine currently sit at the top of Division One with 13 points from five games, winning four and drawing another. Their recent 2-1 home win over champions Bromac Kelburne was notable but Brogdon knows there is a long way to go in the title race.
Tomorrow, they travel to Peffermill to face former pacesetters Watsonians, who have slipped to fifth position in the ten-strong league after back-to-back defeats at Hillhead (7-6) and at home to Edinburgh University (5-0).

“Last Sunday, we were missing a few but we’re working hard at building a side which can challenge.”
Elsewhere, third-placed Edinburgh University travel to Hillhead, who are sixth, looking to erase the disappointment of their 2-2 draw at lowly Uddingston Riva.
In women’s Division One, there is only one game scheduled on Sunday which sees a key basement battle between second-bottom Erskine Stewart’s Melville and Hillhead, who are one place above them.
