Cricket: Teams have fingers crossed for Scottish cup

Watsonians, Grange, Carlton and Heriot’s will all be hoping to put unbeaten Scottish cricket cup records on the line if the weather relents for the latest round of sectional matches tomorrow.

Scottish champions Carlton are due to entertain Greenock who they defeated heavily in the away leg while Heriot’s entertain Stirling County, Watsonians await Weirs and Grange receive Fauldhouse.

In other ties RH Corstorphine will be looking to build on their opening win last week at Stoneywood-Dyce when at home to West while SMRH face Clydesdale at Inverleith.

Completing a clean sweep of home ties for the Capital teams are Edinburgh Accies who are due to play Ferguslie.
