Easthouses Boys’ Club became half-time heroes at last month’s Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle.
Prior to the Hibs and Hearts players taking to the field, the Easthouses group were trained by Hearts coaches, and then experienced walking onto the famous pitch to roaring crowds to wave the Big Hearts flags in the centre circle before the match began.
Then at half-time they had the chance to play on the hallowed turf in front of the packed stadium, feeling, no doubt like legends.
The once-in-a-lifetime experience was organised by the Big Hearts group at the Gorgie club.
