Wednesday brought more bad news and emphasised the severity of the situation, making it clear there are far more worrying aspects to worry about that when the SPFL campaign will be concluded. Hearts announced they had approached players, management and club staff to take wage reductions, while other teams around the country released statements expressing the difficulties they are facing.
