Dalkeith Thistle 5-2 Dundee Violet

Dalkeith took the lead on ten minutes when Stephen Pudledski converted his spot-kick.

Violet equalised when Robert Urquhart capitalised on a slack Grant Gavin pass-back to fire past Steven Haye on 20 minutes. Pudledski restored Dalkeith’s advantage with an angled shot on 36 minutes and Michael Linton’s deflected effort five minutes later gave Thistle a healthy cushion at the interval.

David Morris tapped in at the back post on 48 minutes for Dalkeith’s fourth. Brian Duell gave Violet hope with a great strike on 74 minutes, but Kenny Fisher put the seal on a fine 
victory for Thistle with a superb solo goal in stoppage time.
