Dunbar downed by Dynamo Hibs at Peffermill in seven-goal thriller

SOUTH DIVISION side 
Dunbar were at Peffermill for their game against Dynamo Hibs last night, but lost narrowly 4-3 against a strong home side.

On the score sheet for Dynamo were Daryl Bodetti, David Miller, Kevin Brown and Jordan Caddow, while Keith Tait, Stuart Robertson and Franny Young score for the visitors.

Dunbar have been busy in discussions with Berwick Rangers and have been successful in grabbing several players from the Senior side such as Connor Woods, Ross Cowan and Sean Hall, along with the goalscorer Franny Young.

On Saturday Super League side Musselburgh face tough opposition when Cove Rangers travel from Aberdeenshire.

Musselburgh boss Davy McGlynn is busy collecting a young squad with a view to building from scratch. He has brought in youngsters Dale Hornet, Jake Moyes, Jamie Lauder, Michael McKenna, Aaron Pontin, Andrew Sinclair and Ross McWilliams.

He does so in the knowledge that there is no relegation this campaign so he has a couple of seasons to build a squad of player capable of holding their own in the Super League.

Saturday’s game against Cove Rangers will be a litmus test as to how they will fair in the 
Super League this season.
