In a game of two halves it was Kelty who just shaded that first half with an early goal from former Bonnyrigg’s Paul Shields, who scored against his old club in the 12th minute.
He swept over a cross from the left wing only the 21st goal conceded by the Rose defence this season in 24 games played.

Shields continued to impress with his clever touches as Bonnyrigg struggled in the conditions in the first half as new drains at the park had ensured the game was played, with other games elsewhere weather ko’d.
