Hearts ace Clevid Dikamona sends message to fans after man of the match display against Hibs

Clevid Dikamona praised the Hearts fans after putting in a man of the match display in the 3-1 win over Hibs.

The Congolese defender started his first game in the league since the 0-0 draw at Ross County where he played right-back.

He was awarded the BT Sport man of the match after a fine individual performance, not putting a foot wrong all evening.

Dikamona, speaking to the Evening News, said he felt at home at Easter Road and continued his unbeaten run in Leith.

After the match he tweeted: “What big team performance it was tonight... and our fan performance (a host of emojis including one a face with love hearts for eyes). We will enjoy tonight and go back to work tomorrow.”

It followed another which read “you just have to change the date...”, the player having quote tweeted a post he made after the Edinburgh derby win in December 2018 which said ‘Edinburgh is ours’.

He wasn’t the only Hearts player to celebrate on Twitter with Lewis Moore, who set up the second goal for Oliver Bozanic, posting: “OH MY DAZEEEEEEE”.

Anthony McDonald tweeted: “Wow lovely that”.
