The Hearts team which faces St Mirren on Friday night is set to be very different to the one which last made the journey to Paisley for a league fixture. Of the XI which started the 0-0 draw in September four players have left the club, while a further three are on the periphery of the current first-team squad. Andy Irving was a first-half substitute, while Sean Clare was an unused sub. Daniel Stendel has a big selection to make with Hearts ideally needing to pick up all three points against their relegation rivals. And they may have to do so without striker Liam Boyce.
