Fans to have snapped up briefs so far have done so without knowing which division they will be watching their team in.

Hearts became one of the first clubs to clarify concerns some supporters had over games played behind closed doors.

The club released a season ticket guarantee pledge which will ensure fans get 18 home league matches, whichever division the team are in, or if for whatever reason there is not sufficient home matches for supporters they “will be credited with the value of the outstanding number of matches for season 21/22” if they renew.

If supporters don’t renew for the 21/22 campaign they will “be offered the relevant number of match tickets”.

It is set to be a busy month at Tynecastle with the decision on which league the team will be playing in expected to be confirmed in the coming days.

The Evening News also revealed that former manager and interim manager Craig Levein and Austin MacPhee will be departing following the expiry of their contracts at the end of May, while Daniel Stendel’s future will likely be discussed, especially if the club do drop into the Championship.
