Queen of the South aim cheeky 'relegated' dig at Hearts on Twitter

Queen of the South have taken aim at Hearts prior to the Championship clash between the sides.

The Doonhamers welcome the league leaders to Palmerston Park for this evening’s second tier fixture on BBC Scotland.

Via the official Twitter account, the club made note of the fact they are playing “relegated Hearts”.

The post read: “Pre-match| Good evening and welcome to a chilly Palmerston as Queens welcome last season relegated side Hearts to Palmerston. The Jambos sit top of the league going into tonight’s match. Full teams to follow.”

Hearts come into the match looking to extend their lead at the top of the table to 15 points.

Queen of the South, meanwhile, sit second bottom following last weekend’s defeat to Alloa Athletic.

The last time the teams met, Hearts ran out 6-1 winners.

Robbie Neilson has made one change from the side that beat Ayr United 1-0 last time out.
